JB with BFC saticfied my need for a unique look that makes people look twice. Great and speedy response to all of my questions and concerns. And a overall beautiful finished product. Thanks for my 2004 Mitsubishi Eclipse retro headlights.
They had my project done in two weeks…..The result? PHENOMENON. The light is so bright, the flicker is stunning. Customer service? World class. Quality workmanship? OUTSTANDING. Thank you so much JB for all the work you have given me.
JB had advised me from the beginning as to what product I should get. I got constant updates from him on the progress of my lights. I never thought I would enjoy my lights like this again. I even had a guy driving a Range Rover stop me and ask me where had them built. Thank you once again JB & crew.
JB did a great job on FXR III for my 2011 F250 SuperDuty. Fit is great, function is what I wanted, follow-up was/is terrific.
These factory housings are perma-sealed – I tried to bake them open and soon realized I was going to loose my patience and break $600 worth of factory headlight housings, so off to BFC for me. I highly recommend.
I came across Black Flames Customs through HID Planet. I had an idea of what I wanted as far as projector performance, but I was not quite sure which projector would be best for my setup. I contacted JB and he happily guided me through my options. He even brought up ideas that I didn’t originally have in mind, such as painting the housings. This was a great recommendation! I mounted my headlights last night and they look beautiful. I ended up going with the RX-330 projectors and just as JB said, they are colorful! I’m so happy with the work they did and I would recommend them to anyone looking for retrofitting services. Customer service was great: quick replies and good communication as far as the scope of the project. Thanks again!
Like others, I found Black Flame Customs through the Retrofit Source website. The HID projector headlights with halos for my Avalanche were completed in only 2 weeks and with very good workmanship. Usually you get speed or quality, but here you get both. The custom retrofits may cost more than other headlights, but, as the saying goes you get what you pay for!
I found BFC through the respected “Retrofit Source” as one of their recommended retrofitters.
After searching for the company I found that they have excellent customer service and responded to issues thoughtfully and publicly on several HID enthusiast forums online. I was impressed with their level of commitment to their customers as well as the confidence they had in their craftsmanship.
I went on to have a lengthy e-mail discussion with a very patient JB. To describe the customer service as “excellent” is an understatement. JB was extremely helpful and answered very promptly to a great many of my questions before I even formally expressed interest in using their services.
JB was also consistent in recommending what I’ve read to be the correct and standard way to perform HID retrofits. He was more interested in providing the best advice for my particular application, rather than what might have netted him the most money from me as a customer.
After receiving the finished product, JB continued to be extremely helpful and diagnosed and solved some electrical issues I had with my car. I provided pictures of the finished product and he offered to have me take the car back to him and adjust the headlights to perfection.
Overall, I am extremely happy with my choice to use BFC as my retrofitter and will whole-heartedly recommend them to anyone interested in the same upgrade for their car.
